Unable to open an office file on Sharepoint server post M365App migration

Below is a small kb which allows you to resolve problems related to opening a file on a SharePoint OnPrem server from a client having migrated from Office 2016 to the M365Apps solution. Correction To correct the issue, you must clear office cache and Rename a registry key . Clear Office cache : Close all Office 2016 app Navigate to  C:\Users username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0 Rename the folder  16.0 to 16.0_old Rename the Registry Key Open  "Regedit" Navigate to  Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 16.0 \ Common \ ServicesManagerCache Rename ServicesManagerCache  to  ServicesManagerCache_old After applying all of these changes, you can again open your files hosted on your SharePoint server.

How to install Microsoft Edge on ChromeOS

For several months, it has been possible to integrate Chromebooks into Microsoft Intune. It may therefore be interesting to see which Microsoft tools can be installed on the ChromeOS environment. In this article, we will see how to install Microsoft Edge on ChromeOS. To do this, we will rely on the Linux development environment available on Chromebooks. Install the Linux development environment Go to  Start Menu Click  About ChromeOS Click  Set up  to  Linux development environnement Click N ext Enter a  Username ,  configure the storage  and click  Install loading installation Install  complete Install Microsoft Edge Go to  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/download?form=MA13FJ Download the  package linux .deb After package download, go to  Files manager Right click  on Microsoft Edge package and select Install with Linux Click  Install Click  OK Install complete,   click on Microsoft Edge icon  for starting the browser
