How to create a Windows 365 Demo tenant

In this blog post, we will see how to create a test tenant for Windows 365 which will allow you to test all the features offered by the solution.

The site cdx.transform.microsoft.com allows you to create various test tenants to evaluate the different solutions offered by Microsoft.

This site allows you to create up to  6 test tenants : 
  • 1 tenant with a validity period of one year
  • 5 tenants with a validity period of 3 months

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise Demo Content
  • Office + Office CAS Demo Content
  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise with Users and No Content
  • Microsoft Education Demo Content

Prerequisites

Here are the prerequisites necessary to create your Windows 365 tenant

  • Have or create an account on the site : cdx.transform.microsoft.com
    • For create an account on this site, you must be a Microsoft partner
To avoid the risk of access problem, it is preferable to use Microsoft Edge.

Tenant creation

  • Go to cdx.transform.microsoft.com
  • Enter your identification informations
  • Click on My Environments
  • Click Create Tenant
  • Select Tenant type, Validity period and Tenant location
  • Select Windows 365 Enterprise Demo Tenant and click Create Tenant
  • Tick the case and click Accept and Continue


After a few minutes, your tenant is available. You can find your ID and password in the My Environment section.

How to reset computer in OOBE mode

When you receive a new computer, it may contain various applications that are useless in a business context. To solve this problem and start with a clean PC, it may be interesting to reset it.  Here is two procedures that can be performed in OOBE mode Manual process Click CTRL + Shift + F3 , your computer restart. Microsoft Intune, Uninstall Win32 app with the company portal

With the arrival of build 2307 of Microsoft Intune , Microsoft provides a new option on the Application part. Source :  What's new in Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn This option allows us to offer users the possibility of uninstalling an Win32 application via the Company Portal. Below you will find the procedure to activate the option in the Microsoft Intune console. Prerequisites Intune tenant up to date Win32 app available in the company portal A valid Uninstall command line Enabling the Uninstall option Go to  Intune.microsoft.com Navigate to Apps / Windows Select an  Win32 App and click Properties On Program , click Edit Activate the option Allow available uninstall  by switching the option to Yes Click Review + Save for all sections and click Save User side Open the company portal then select an available Win32 application. After updating, you should see the mention Uninstall.  Click Uninstall for remove the application.
